A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIOcl'S TO
THE REPOR'f OF 'fflE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-65)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIry OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the SuperIntendent of Streets wIll
file a report of repaIr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets
and HIghways Code of the State of California, relating to the
construct1on of certaln lmprovements to sldewalks and drIveways
at 1708 Robson, 1714 Robson, l718 Robson, 84-19/1742 Robson,
84-20/vacant lot l730-42 Robson, 84-2l/1730 Robson, 1743 Robson,
1737 Robson, 1727 Robson, 1723 Robson, 1733 Robson, 1717 Robson,
and 1713 Robson, all WIthin the Clty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the Clty CounCl1 does hereby order and declare tha t on the
25th day of June, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., 1n the Council Chambers of
the CIty Hall, lt wl11 hear and pass upon the report by the
SuperIntendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together with
any obJections or protests, If any, wh lch may be raIsed by any
property owner 11ab1e to be assessed for the cos t of such repalr
and any other Interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
writing and f~led with the C~ty Clerk on or before the time set
for hear~ng of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4. I'he Superintendent of Streets is hereby
dIrected to ffia ~ 1 not~ces, in the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoptlon of thIS Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repa~r program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equal~zed assessment roll for the C~ty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adopting
of th~s Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ~n full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall cert~fy to the adoptlon
of this ResolutIon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
