A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER
THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN ALLEY
KNOWN AS EUCLID COURT, BETwEEN THE RAILROAD
PROPERTY AND OLYMPIC BOULEVARD, IN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN'rA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ResolutIon Number 7012 1S hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica
hereby declares its intention to order the vacation of all of
that portion of Euclid Court from a pOInt 410 feet northwesterly
of OlympIc Blvd. to a p01nt 599.77 feet northwesterly of Olymp1c
Bl vd . , as shown on the map of the Towner Terrace Tract, in the
C1ty of Santa MonIca, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
recorded 1n Book 8, Page 25 1n the off1ce of the Recorder of said
County.
For further partIculars as to the proposed vacation of
the hereinbefore mentioned area, reference 1S made respectively
to Draw1ng No. 43l4, dated March 18, 1985, now on file in the
off1ce of the C1ty Clerk 1n the C1ty Hall, Santa Monica,
California.
SECTION 3. The City councl.l of the City of Santa
Monica, in vacating sal.d portion of said Euclid Court, Intends to

reserve and except from said vacation an easement of full width
over the full length of sald portlon of sald Court intended to be
vacated, for the purpose of constructIng, malntalning, operating,
replaclng, removing and renewing all sanItary sewers, storm
drains, water malns and other publIC utillty facilities and
appurtenant structures. The reservatlons and exceptions are
descr1bed in Drawing No. 4314. The City Councll of the City of
Santa Monica finds that the publlC convenience and necessity
requIre such reservation.
SECTION 4. The CIty Council of the City of Santa
Monica, in vacatIng the above mentloned portlon of Euclid Court
elects to proceed under and 1n accordance with the prov1sIons of
the Public Streets, HIghways and SerVlce Easements Vacatlon Law,
Streets and HIghways Code Section 8300 et seq.
SEC'rION 5. The hour of 7:30 o.clock p.m. of the
9th day of July , 1985, 1n the CounCIl Chamber 1n
the CIty Hall, Santa MonIca, Callfornia, be and the same hereby
lS flxed as the tlme and place when and where all persons
interested In or obJectlng to the proposed vacatlon may appear
before the Clty Council and offer evidence in relatIon thereto.
SECTION 6. The Street Superintendent of the Clty of
Santa Monlca hereby is dIrected to cause Notlces of Street
VacatIon to be posted as requlred by Streets and HIghways Code
Section 8323.
SECTION 7. The Clty Clerk shal1 certify to the adoption
of this Resolution of IntentIon and sh all cause the same to be

publlshed in accordance wIth Street and Hlghways Code SeCtlOn
8322.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
