RESOLUTION NO. 7030(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CI'l'Y COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
S'l'REETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-66)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF rHE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the Superintendent of Streets will
flle a report of repaIr pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets
and Hlghways Code of the State of Californla, relating to the
construction of certain lmprovements to sIdewalks and drlveways
at 478 24th St., 256 24th St. , 1826 Callfornla, 1205 Pine, 504
24th St. , 604 24th St. , 1811 California, 250 25th St. , 209 25th
St. , 201 25th St., 715 24th St., and 1736 Franklin all withIn the
Clty of Santa MonIca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
9 th day of July, 1985, at 7:30 P.M. , 1n the Councll Chambers of
the CIty Hall, It w111 hear and pass upon the report by the
Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repaIr, together with
any Ob)ectlons or protests, lf any, WhICh may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJections must be ~n
wrltlng and filed wIth the C~ty Clerk on or before the t~me set
for hear~ng of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
dIrected to mall notlces, ~n the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of thIS Resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repaIr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equallzed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the CIty clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certIfy to the adoptlng
of thIS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ln full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The C~ty Clerk shall cert~fy to the adoptlon
of thIS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ~n full force and effect.
