A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING THE GANN APPROPRIATIONS
LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86
WHEREAS. the City Council 1S requlred under the
prOV1Slons of Government Code Sect10n 7910 and Article XIIIB of
the Cal1fornia Const1tut1on to establish 1ts appropr1ations limit
by resolut1on: and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determination of the
appropr1at1ons lim1t has been avallable to the public for fifteen
days pr10r to this meeting as requ1red by Government Code Section
7910.
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- For purposes of Artlc1e XIIIB of the
Callfornla Const1tution, the City of Santa MonJ.ca appropriatlons
llmlt for the flscal year 1985-86 shall be $34,262,487.

SECTION 2. The C1.ty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of the Resolut1.on, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be 1.n full force and effect.
