RESOLUTION NO. 7039(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS RBGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-67)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SA~TA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the Superintendent of Streets wlll
file a report of repalr pursuant to SectIon 5617 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, relating to the
construct1.on of certaIn unprovements to s1.dewa1ks and driveways
at 153l GeorgIna, 1029 2nd, lOl2 2nd, 305 Pal1.sades, 2603 22nd,
2323 La Mesa, 1419 10th, l70l California, 1730 California, and
lU25 Plne, all within tne C1.ty of Santa MonIca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to SectIon 5600 et seq. of sa1.d
code, the Cl ty Counc1.1 does hereby order and declare tha t on the
23th day of July, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., In the Council Chambers of
the CIty Hall, it wll1 hear and pass upon the report by the
SuperIntendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together w1.th
any obJectlons or protests, if any, WhICh may be ra1.sed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.
SECTION 3. That all protests or ObJections must be 1.n
Wr1.tlng and flIed wIth the c1. ty Cler k on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and obJect1.ons.

SEc'r ION 4. The Superl.ntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to maJ.l notIces, In the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repaJ.r and of the adoptlon of thlS ResolutIon
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repaIr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the CIty taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of thIS Resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be J.n full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptIon
of thJ.s Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
he in full force and effect.
