RESOLUTION NO. 7042 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA REPEALING RESOLUTION
1021 (CCS) AND SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT
OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS
AND CURBS (SR-85-65)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ResolutIon 7021 (CCS) lS hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That the SuperIntendent of Streets will
file a report of repaIr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of CalifornIa, relating to the
construction of certaIn lmprovements to sIdewalks and driveways
at 1708 Robson, 1714 Robson, 1718 Robson, 1730-42 Robson, 1743
RObson, 1737 Robson, 1727 Robson, 1723 Robson, 1733 Robson, 1717
RObson, and 1713 Robson, all wIthin the CIty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to SectIon 5600 et seq. of said
code, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
23rd day of July, 1985, at 1:30 P.M., In the Council Chambers of
the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
SuperIntendent of Streets of the cost of repaIr, together with
any objections or protests, if any, which may be ralsed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repaIr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 4 . That all protests or objections must be In
writIng and fIled wIth the City Clerk on or before the tIme set
for hearing of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 5 . The Superintendent of Streets IS hereby
dIrected to mall notIces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repaIr and of the adoption of thIS Resolution
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the SIdewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the CIty taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall certIfy to the adopting
of thIS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adoption
of this ResolutIon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
