RESOLUTION NO. 7044(CCS}
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PRO'fES'rS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-68)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The Super1ntendent of Streets WIll fIle a
report of repaIr pursuant to Sect10n 5617 of the Streets and
H1ghways Code of the State of CalifornIa, relatIng to the
construction of certain improvements to s1dewa1ks and driveways
at 2216 Main St., 2721 6th St., 272 76th St., 2627 L1ncoln Blvd.,
1018 Grant St. , 1047 Ocean Park Blvd. , 836 Asnland, 1918 MaIn
St., 2519-2525 10th St., 2634 3rd St. , 2628 3rd St., 2912 3rd
St. , 3009-3011 2nd St., 2936 Main St., 2200 Ma1n St. , and 830
Maple St. all with1n the C1ty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of sa1d
code, the C1ty Counc11 does hereby order and declare that on the
13th day of August, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Super1ntendent of Streets of the cost of repa1r, together wIth
any obJectIons or protests, 1f any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or obJections must be in writing
and f~led wIth the CIty Clerk on or before the t1me set for
hearIng of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4. The SuperIntendent of Streets 1S hereby
directed to mail not1ces, 1n the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoptIon of thIS Resolution
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equal1zed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The CIty ClerK shall certify to the adopt1ng
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adoptIon
of thIS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
