A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PRo'rESTS OR OBJECTIOl~S TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEwALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-69)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOwS:

SECTION 1. The SuperIntendent of Streets will file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Californla, relatlng to the
constructIon of certain lmprovements to sidewalks and drIveways
at 2509 l8th St. , 2614 3lst St. , 2640 31st St. , 1666 Ashland
Ave. , l814 Hl11 St. , 1634 Hill St. , 2417 Hl11 St. , 2470 Ocean
Park Blvd. , 1700 Ocean Park Blvd. , l736 Oak St. , 1752 Oak St. ,
1746 Oak St., l043 Pine, 1001 Plne, 1221 MIchigan Ave., and 2424
Euclid St. all wlthln the City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to SectIon 5600 et seq. of said
cod e , the Clty CounCIl does hereby order and declare that on the
lOth day of SeptemJ::::e.r, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the Councl1 Chambers
of the Clty Hall, It wJ.ll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any obJectIons or protests, If any, which may be raised by any
property owner IJ.able to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other Interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or obJections must be in writing
and fIled w1th the C1ty Clerk on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4. The SuperIntendent of Streets IS hereby
directed to mail notices, 1n the manner and form prescr1bed by
law, of the cost of repa1r and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repaIr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the C1ty taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adopting
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt1on
of thIS Resolut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
