RESOLUTION NO. 7063(CCS}
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA APPROVING SUPPLEMENT NO. g TO THE LOCAL
AGENCY/STATE AGREEMENT NO. 07-5107 FOR FEDERAL-AID
FUNDS FOR TRAFFIC MODERNIZATION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN
THE CITY
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The CIty Council of the CIty of Santa
Monica does hereby approve and authorize the City Manager to
execute the attached Program of Local Agency Federal Aid Urban
proJect in the City of Santa MonIca Program Supplement No. g
settIng forth the funding of modernization of traffIC signals at
Ocean Park Boulevard and 14th Street, NeIlson Way between Pico
Boulevard and Ocean Park Boulevard, Ocean Park Boulevard between
17th Street and 20th Street, and Ocean Avenue between CalifornIa
Avenue and WIlshire Boulevard.
SECTION 2. The CIty Clerk shall certIfy to the
adoptIon of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.

2. The City of Santa Monica will advertise, award and administer this
project. The City will obtain State's concurrence prior to either
award or rejection of contract.
3. In awarding, or agreeing to award the contract, the Local Agency
agrees the payment of Federal funds will be limited to the detail
estimate amount approved by the Federal HJ.ghway Administration in
the Federal-Aid Project Agreement (PR-2), or its modification
PR- 2A, and accepts any increases in Local Agency funds.
4. The availability of Federal Funds will be subject to meeting
deadlines and/or other conditions as may be imposed by the
Director upon the recommendation of the FAU Advisory Committee.
5. In executing this Program Supplemental Agreement, Local Agency
hereby reaffirms the "Nondiscrimination Assurances" contained
in the aforementJ.oned Master Agreement for Federal-Aid Program.
