RESOLUTION NO. 7066 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMEN'rS FOR
STREET LIGHTING ON VARIOUS STREETS, ALL
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets wll1
fl1e a report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Callfornla, relatlng to the
installation of street lighting completed on: Franklin,
Berkeley, Stanford and Princeton Streets between Santa Monica
Boulevard and Colorado Avenue; Twenty-fifth Street between P1CO
Boulevard and Pearl Street; Strand Street from Sixth Street to
LIncoln BOUlevard; Euclid Street from Broadway to Colorado
Avenue; and Euclid Street from Brentwood Terrace to Marguerlta
Avenue, all wIthln the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to SectIon 5870, et seq. of
saId Code, the CIty Councll does hereby order and declare that on
the 10th day of September, 1985, in the CouncIl Chambers of the
City Hall, it WIll hear and pass upon any and all ObJections or
protests to the report of work of the SuperIntendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment asslgned agaInst the real
property described in said report.

SECTION 3. All protests or obJectlons must be in
writlng and filed with the Clty Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearlng of protests and ObJections.
SECTION 4. The Cl.ty Clerk is hereby directed to
mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the
adoption of thlS resolutlon to all persons ownlng real property
ln the hereInbefore descrlbed assessment dlstrlct whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the
Clty taxes or as known to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
