A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING TIE-DOWN
AND HANGAR RENTAL RATES AT SANTA MONICA
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Section 10108 of the Santa Monica Munic~pal Code
provides for the charging of tie-down or parking rental rates for
alrcraft USing the Santa Monlca Mun~e~pal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Seetlon 10108 of the Santa Monica Mun~cipal Code
provides for the charging of hangar rental rates for alrcraft

USing the Santa Monlca MuniCipal Alrport; and
WHEREAS, Section 10108 of the Santa Mon~ca Munlcipal Code
provides that all tle-down, parklng, and hangar rates shall be
set by Resolution of the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 10108 of the Santa Mon:Lca
MuniCipal Code, the follow~ng tie-down or parking rates shall be

charged at Santa Monica Municlpal A~rport effective October 1 ,
1985:
( a ) The rate for SINGLE ENGINE AIRCRAFT wlth wlngspan of up
to but not more than 43 feet shall be $65.00 for each month at'
$5.00 fat' each day or $.50 for each one-half hour.
( b ) The rate for TWIN ENGINE AIRCRAFT wlth wingspan up to
but not' more than 43 feet shall be $85.00 for each month or $1.00
for each day or $.75 for each one-half hour.
(c) The rate for AIRCRAFT wlth w~ngspan of more than 43
feet but not more than 49 feet shall be $110 00 for each month at'
$10.00 for each day or $1. 00 for each one-half hout'.
(d) The rate for AIRCRAFT wlth wlngspan of more than 49
feet but not more than 55 feet shall be $135.00 for each month or
$13.00 for each day or $1.25 for each one-half hour.
( e ) The rate for AIRCRAFT with wlngspan of more than 55
feet but not more than 61 feet shall be $150.00 for each month or
$15.00 for each day or $1.75 for each one-half hour.
( f ) The rate for AIRCRAFT wlth wlngspan of more than 61
feet shall be $200.00 for each month or $20.00 for each day or
$2.00 for each one-half hour.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sectlon 10108 of the Santa
Monlea Municlpal Code, the followlng hangar rates shall be
charged at Santa Monlca Munlc~pal Airport effective October 1,
1985:

l a) The rate for T-HANGARS shall be $195.00 for each month.
(b) The rate for HANGAR SITES of not less than 40 feet wide
and not more than 43 feet wlde shall be $85.00 for each month.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoptlon
of thls Resolutlon. and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
