A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MON I CA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
TrlE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-71)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SEC'l'ION L The Superl.ntendent of Streets wl.ll file a
report of repal.r pursuant to Sectl.on 5617 of the Streets and
Hl.ghways Code of the State of Ca11fornl.a, re1atl.ng to the
constructl.on of certain improvements to sl.dewalks and driveways
at 953 20th Street, 2222 La Mesa Drl.ve, 937 20th Street, 907 20th
Street, 2318 Pl.er Avenue, 1021 20th Street, 1015 20th Street, 941
20th Street, 933 20th Street, 1007 20th Street, 927 20th Street,
1027 20th Street, 1057 20tn Street, 923 20th Street, 919 20th
Street, and 913 20th Street, all within the C1ty of Santa Monica~
SECTION 2~ Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq~ of said
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
1st day of October, 1985, at 7:30 P~M~, l.n the Counc11 Chambers
of the Cl ty Hall, it w111 hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any obJections or protests, if any, wh1ch may be ral.sed by any
property owner ll.able to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other lnterested personsv

SECTION 3. All protests or obJectIons must be In writing
and filed wIth the City Clerk on or before the tIme set for
hearing of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4. The SuperIntendent of Streets is hereby
d ll"ected to mall notIces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of thIS Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repal:' program, whose n am e s and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 5, The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adoptIng
of this ResolutIon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be 1 n fu 11 force and effect,
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptIon
of thIS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in fu 11 force and effect.
