RESOLUTION NO. 7093 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES) -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY
HANDICAPPED ZONE ADJACENT TO 1211 GRANT STREET.
WHEREAS, the Clty Council of the City of Santa MonIca has
enacted an ordInance enablH.g IndivIduals to request parking
zones fo~ physIcally handIcapped person; and
WHEREAS, the City has recelved a request for a physlcally
handIcapped zone; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Trafflc EngIneer has conside~ed
the request and concluded, based upon the factors stated in the
ordinance, that an addItlonal phYSIcally handIcapped zone may be
installed at the requested locatlon,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- A physlcally handIcapped zone IS hereby
established on the no~th slde of Grant Street adjacent to 1211
Grant Street.
SECTION 2. The Cl ty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of thIS resolutIon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
