A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS CSR-85-72)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The Superintendent of Streets Will file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California, relating to the
construction of certaln improvements to sldewalks and driveways
2914 Washington Avenue, 1109 20th Street, 2221 Montana Avenue,
1111 2nd Street, 1344 4th Street, 2502 Ar 1 zona Avenue, 136
Esparta Way, 150 Esparta Way, 2601-2615 Arizona Avenue, 1127 20th
Street, 2209 Montana Avenue, 1115 20th Street, 1121 20th Street,
1424 Broadway, and 1054-60 14th Street, all wi thin the City of
Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Coun~il does hereby order and declare that on the
22nd day of October, 1985. at 7:30 P.M., in the Counell Chambers
of the City Hall, lt wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair. togetber with
any obJe~tlons or protests, if any, whlch may be raised by any
property owner 11able to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be 1n writlng
and filed wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and obJectlons.
SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
dH'ected to mall notices, In the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of thlS Resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equallzed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The C1 ty Clerk shall certify to the adoptlng
of thls Resolut10n and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effe~t.
SECTION 6. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoption
of this Resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
