A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY
HANDICAPPED ZONE ADJACENT TO 140 PACIFIC STREET
WHEREAS, the C1 ty Council of the City of Santa Monica has
enacted an ordinance enabling individuals to request parking
zones for physically hand1capped person; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a r e q ue s t for a physically
handicapped zone; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Traffic Engineer has considered
the request and concluded, based upon the factors stated in the
ord1nance, that an additional physically handicapped zone may be
1nstalled at the requested location,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . A physically hand1capped zone is hereby
established on the sout h s1de of Pacific Street adj acent to 140
Pacific Street.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
