RESOLUTION NUMBER 7118 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AMENDING THE EXECUTIVE PAY PLAN
WHEREAS, the Execut1ve Pay Plan adopted by Resolution
Number 6753 (CCS) and amended by Resolution Number 70'58 provides
for Long Term D1sabi1ity Insurance 1n Sectlon 2 (J) thereo f; and
WHEREAS, the el1m1natlon perlod speclfled thereln does not
conform to the needs or characterist1cs of the members of the
Execut1ve Pay Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Clty Councll desires to amend Sectlon 2 (J) to
provlde a reduced e11IDlnat1on per1od;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Clty Counc11 does hereby amend Sectlon 2
(J) of Resolut1on Number 70'58 (CCS) to provide as follows:
J. Lon9 Term Dlsabll1ty Insurance. Part1cipants in the
Execut1ve Pay Plan shall rece1ve long term d1sab11lty lnsurance
coverage at City expense. SubJect to the usual provislons and
exclusions of such 1nsurance plans, the coverage shall be for 60'%
of salary after a 60' day el1m1nat1on per1od.

SECTION 2: The C1 ty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon of
thlS Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
