RESOLUTION NO. 7120 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-73)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The Superintendent of Streets will file a
report of repair pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, relatlng to the
construction of certaln improvements to sidewalks and drlveways
1843 9th Street, 1823 Michigan Avenue, 430 Broadway, 2802 1/2
Delaware Avenue, 647 Ashland Avenue, 3340 Delaware Avenue, 823
Plne Street, 1007 Ocean Avenue, 2921 Maln Street, 127 Broadway,
332 17th Street, 921 Georgina Avenue, and 333 Santa Monica Blvd.,
all within the Clty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5600 et seg. of said
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
10th day of December, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., ln the Councll Chambers
of the Cl ty Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together wlth
any Ob]ectlons or protests, lf any, which may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or Ob]ectlons must be ln writing
and hI ed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hearlng of protests and objections.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notlces, in the manner and form prescrlbed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of thlS Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ln full force and effect.
