RESOLUTION NO. 7121 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR COMMENTS TO THE URBAN WATER
MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, california Water Code Sections 10610 through
10656, effective January 1, 1984, known as the Urban Water
Management Planning Act, requires each urban water supplier to
prepare an Urban Water Management Plan, hold a publ ic hearing on
the plan, and adopt the plan no later than December 31, 1985:
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica is an Urban Water
Supplier as defined by the Urban Water Management Act: and
WHEREAS 1 the city of santa Monica has prepared an Urban
Water Management Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Pursuant to section 10642 of the California
Water Code, the City council does hereby order and declare that on
the 10th day of December, 1985, at 7:30 pm, in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the Urban Water
Management Plan by the Director of General Services together with

..- objections or protests which may be raised by any interested
any
persons.
section 2. All protests or objections must be in
writing and filed with the city Clerk on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and objections.
Section 3. The Director of General Services is hereby
directed to publish notices, in the form and manner prescribed by
section 6066 of the Government Code.
section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
