A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PRo'rESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-74)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The Superintendent of Streets wlll hIe a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cal ifornia, relatlng to the
construction of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways
at 2659 32nd Street, 2656 32nd Street, 2642 32nd Street, 2645
32nd Street, 2658 32nd Street, 2662 32nd Street, 2666 32nd
Street, 2636 32nd Street, 2680 32nd Street, 2408 32nd Street,
2414 32nd Street, 2415 32nd Street, 2410 33rd Street, 2343 33rd
Street, 2340 33rd Street, 2442 33rd Street, 2601 33rd Street,
2609 33rd Street, 2605 33rd Street, 2662 33rd Street, 2401 33rd
Street, all wlthln the Clty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seg. of said
code, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
14th day of January, 1986, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the Cl ty Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together wlth
any Ob]ectlons or protests, if any, WhlCh may be raised by any
property owner 11able to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in wrlting
and bled wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the tlme set for
hearing of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notlces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of this Resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
