RESOLUTION NO. 7142 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS.
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-75)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The Superintendent of Streets will file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cali fornia, relating to the
construction of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways
at 2343 3nd Street, 2341 32nd Street, 2344 32nd Street, 2340 32nd
Street, 2418 32nd Street, 2432 32nd Street, 2411 32nd Street,
2401 32nd Street, 2419 32nd Street, 3129 Pearl Street. 2435 32nd
Street, 2404 32nd Street. 2508 32nd Street, 2423 32nd Street,
2336 32nd Street, 2648 32nd Street.
SECTION 2. Pur s uan t to Section 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
1lth day of February. 1986, at 7 :30 P.M. . in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, toget her with
any object1ons or protests. if any. which may be ra1sed by any
property owner 11able to be assessed for the cost of such repair
aad any ot her interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and obj ectLons.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equali zed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of this Resol uti on, and thenceforth and t her ea ft.er the same shall
be in full force and effect.
