RESOLUTION NO. 7148(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY
HANDICAPPED ZONE ADJACENT TO 717 11th STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica has
enacted an ordinance enabling individuals to request parking
zones for physically handicapped person; and
WHEREAS, the C1ty has received a request for a physically
handicapped zone; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Traffic Engineer has considered
the request and concluded, based upon the factors stated in the
ord1nance, that an additional physically hand1capped zone may be
installed at the requested locat1on,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
A physically handicapped zone is hereby
established on the east side of 11th Street adjacent to 717 11th
Street.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
