A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA DEFERRING PROCESSING FEES FOR A
TENANT PARTICIPATING CONVERSION AT
1527 CENTINELA AVENUE
WHEREAS,
Santa Monica Municipal
Code
section
9367
authorizes the city Council to establish processing fees for
applications for tenant participating conversions under Article
XX of the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the city council has adopted Resolution Number
7027 (CCS) adopting processing fees pursuant to Municipal code
section 9367; and
WHEREAS, Carol G. Wayne is the owner of a four unit
apartment building located at 1527 Centinela Avenue in the City.
of Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS,
carol G. Wayne desires to file a tenant
participating conversion application for such apartment building;
and
WHEREAS, Carol G. Wayne, because of the filing of
bankruptcy, cannot prepay the necessary filing fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully considered Carol
Wayne's claim of financial hardship and has determined that
deferral of the processing fee is appropriate,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The processing fee for the tenant participating
conversion application to be filed by Carol G. Wayne for real
property located at 1527 Centinela Avenue is deferred upon the
following conditions:
A. That Carol G. Wayne execute a lien in the form approved
by the City Attorney.
B. That Carol G. Wayne agree that the payment of the
deferred fee may be made a condition of the Tentative Parcel Map
to be obtained in connection with the tenant participating
conversion.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
