RESOLUTION NO. 7157 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED
EDISON-LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ALLOCATION
PLAN FOR RULE 20A FUNDS.
wHEREAS, the Ca11forn1a Public Ut1lit1es Commiss1on
requires the Southern Ca11fornia Edison Company to annually
set-aside funds for undergrounding utilities within the1r
territor1esi and
WHEREAS, the formula for distr1buting the allocation has
been revised to meet the needs of cities in accord with their
respective undergrounding activities; and
WHEREAS, the Edison-League of California Cities
Allocation Plan has been tentatively agreed upon; and
WHEREAS, the Edison-League of California Cities
Allocation Plan is scheduled to be considered by the California
PubliC Utilities Commlssion;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council supports the Edison-League
of California Cities Rule 20A Fund Allocation Plan.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of thlS resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
