RESOLUTION NO. 7158{CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJEC'rIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS {SR-86-77}
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Super intendent of Streets wlll file a
report of repalr pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Californla, relatlng to the
construction of certain lmprovements to sidewalks and driveways
at 2605 32nd Street, 2916 Main Street, 1810 Broadway, 1720
Broadway, 2813 Arlzona Avenue, 2816 Arizona Avenue, 2836 Arizona
Avenue, 2832 Arlzona Avenue, 1443 10th Street, 3204 Pearl Street,
3250 P1CO Blvd., 2615 32nd Street, 2606 32nd Street, 2521 32nd
Street, and 2206 Cloverfield Street.
SECTION 2.
PUrsuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the City Councl1 does hereby order and declare that on the
11th day of March, 1986, at 7:30 P.M., in the Councll Chambers of
the City Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Super lntendent of Streets of the cost of repaH, together Wl th
any objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be 1n writing
and hIed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hear1ng of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Super1ntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, 1n the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adopt10n of this Resolution
to all persons own1ng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repa1r program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equal1zed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The C1ty Clerk shall cert1fy to the adopting
of this Resolut1on, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be 1n full force and effect.
