RESOLUTION NO. 6754
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-52)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will file
a report of repalr pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Callfornla, relating to the
constructlon of certaln lmprovements to sldewalks and driveways at
731 San VlCente Blvd., 2023 Vlrg;nla, 2012 Vlrglnla, 2207
Vlrginla, 2213 Vlrginia, 2219 Vlrginia, 2223 Vlrglnla, 2231
Vlrglnla, 815 San Vicente, 2620 Washlngton, 3010 17th Street, 3213
17th Street, 3004 17th Street, 3111 17th Street, 3014 17th Street,
3107 17th Street, 3114 17th Street, 3003 17th Street and 3001 17th
Street, all wlthin the City of Santa Monica. A public hearlng
must be held pursuant to provlsions all wlthin the City of Santa
Monlca.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of
sald code, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on
the 25th day of October, 1983, at 7:30 P.M., ln the Councl1
Chambers of the City Hall, lt will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together
with any obJections or protests, if any. which may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repa1r and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJectlons must be in
wr,tlng and f,led wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and obJectlons.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mall notlces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law. of the cost of repair and of the adoptlon of this resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the adoption
of this resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be 1 n fu 11 force and effect.
