A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-53)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Supenntendent of Streets wlll file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California, relatlng to the
construction of certaln improvements to sidewalks and driveways at
2930 17th St. , 3201 17th St., 2910 17th St., 3015 17th St. , 3021
17th St. , 3217 17th St. , 1701 Pier Ave. , 3122 17th St. . 3118 17th
St. , 1555 Bryn Mawr, 3202 17th St. , 3216 17th St. , 3106 17th St. ,
3210 17th St. , 3009 17th St. , 1649 Wellesley, 1114 Bay St. , 1118
Bay St. , 1124 Bay St. , 1128 Bay St. , 1132 Bay St. , 2039 11th St.
and 1101 Bay St. , all wit h i n the Clty of Santa Monica. A public
hearing must be held pursuant to provislons all wlthin the City of
Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
sald code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 8th day of November, 1983. at 7:30 P.M., in the Councll
Chambers of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
wlth any obJections or protests, lf any, WhlCh may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repalr and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrltlng and fl1ed with the City Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, ln the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of thlS resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City c1erk shall certlfy to the adoptlon
of thlS resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full fo rce and effect.
