A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATION
LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84
WHEREAS, the Clty Council is required by Government
Code
Section
7910
and
Article XIIrB of the California
Constitution to establish its appropriation limit by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determlnation of the
approprlatlon limit has been available to the public for fifteen
days prior to thlS meeting as requlred by Government Code Section
7910,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
For purposes of Article XIIIB of the
California Constltution, the City of Santa Monica appropriatlon
limit for the fiscal year 1983-84 shall be $32,032,350.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
