A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMER
EQUIPMENT LOCATED AT TRANSPORTATION YARDS
WHEREAS,
the
Southern
Ca1iforn1a Ed1son Company
requ1res a Grant of Easement for constructlon and maintenance of
electrical transformer equipment; and
WHEREAS. 1n order to provide the required transformer.
the use of public property 1S required; and
WHEREAS, Southern Ca1iforn1a Edison Company deslres
that the Clty grant an easement for the use of the public
property; and
WHEREAS. the City Counc11 flnds that an easement is of
direct benefit to the C1ty of Santa Monica,
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION
1.
The
grant of easement to Southern
Californla Edison Company 1S approved and the C1ty Manager is
authorlzed to execute the Grant of Easement attached hereto as
Exh1b1t A.
SECTION 2.
The C1ty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this resolut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the
same s hall be 1 n full for c e and effect.
