RESOLUTION NO. 6774

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AN EASEMENT OF AGREEMENT WITH RAND
CORPORATION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC
CONTROL DEVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has awarded a
contract for the installation of traffic signals at various locations
citywidei and
WHEREAS, the proper design of the intersection requires certain
traffic control devices to be placed on property owned by the Rand
Corporationi and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the installation of these
traffic control devices the City requires an easement from Rand Corporation
to maintain and operate the traffic control devices,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica does
hereby approve and authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached
Easement Agreement.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
