A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-84-55)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will fl1e
a report of repair pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California, re1atlng to the
constructlon of certaln lmprovements to Sldewa1ks and driveways at
1125 Bay, 1131 Bay, 1137 Bay, 1201 Bay, 1209 Bay, 849 Ocean, 835 &
843 Bay, 842 Bay, 852 Bay, 820 Bay, 824 Bay, 821 Bay, 601-613
Wl1shlre, 833 Bay, 1008 17th St., 633 Ocean, 617 Ocean, 1113 Bay,
525 Wi1shlre, and 1530 Wllshlre, all withln the Clty of Santa
Monica.
A pub11C hearlng must be held pursuant to provlslons all
wlthln the City of Santa Monlca.
S E C T I ON 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code, the Clty Councl1 does hereby order and declare that on
the 14th day of February, 1984, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the Clty Hall, lt will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair. together
wHh any objectlons or protests. if any, WhlCh may be ralSed by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJect10ns must be 1n
wrltlng and f1led wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hear1ng of protests and objectlons.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notlces, in the manner and form prescrlbed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoption of this resolutlon
to all persons ownlng real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repa1r program. whose names and addresses appear on the
last equallzed assessment roll for the C1ty taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon
of th1S resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
