RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DECLARING CERTAIN WEEDS GROWING
UPON CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE
WHEREAS, there are weeds growlng upon the streets,
sldewalks, and upon certain lots 1n the Clty of Santa Monica,
WhlCh bear seeds of a wlngy or downy nature or atta1n such a
large growth as to become a f1re menace when dry and are
otherwise noxious and dangerous; and
WHEREAS, there are accumulatlons of rubb1sh, refuse,
and dirt upon certa1n streets, sldewalks, and lots in the City of
Santa Monlca,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That all weeds growlng upon the streets,
sldewalks, or upon certain lots in the City of Santa Monlca,
WhlCh bear seeds of a w1ngy or downy nature or attain such a
large growth as to become a f1re menace when dry or Wh1Ch are
otherW1se nOX10US or dangerous are hereby declared to be a publ1C
nUlsance.
SECTION 2. That all rubblsh, refuse, d1rt accumulated
upon streets sidewalks, or upon certa1n lots 1n the City of Santa
Monica are hereby declared to be a public nUlsance .

3.
That the names of the streets and
