A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT
AN APPLICATION AND NEGOTIATE AN
URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FOR
COLORADO PLACE PHASE II.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monlca is an elig~ble Urban
Development Action Grant city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Mon~ca desires to submit an
Urban Development Actlon Grant for Colorado Place II; and
WHEREAS, the C~ty of Santa Monlca recognizes the
beneflts to be der~ved from this proJect including Jobs,
property tax, sales tax and bed tax revenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The City Council of the City of Santa Mon~ca
authorizes the City Manager to execute an applicatlon and
execute all necessary assurances to the Department of Housing
and Urban Development for an Urban Development Action Grant
for Colorado Place Phase II and to negotlate with Colorado
Place, Ltd and HUD for a repayment of the UDAG acceptable to
the Department of Hous1ng and Urban Development and the C~ty.

SECTION 2. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolutlon, and thenceforth and therafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
