A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING A PLAN FOR THE SANTA MONICA AIRPORT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager shall execute the attached
contract with the Federal Aviation Administration entitled "Santa
Mon1ca Airport Agreement" and shall operate the Santa Monica
Airport according to its terms.
SECTION 2. The Airport Plan and Noise Mitiqation Program
for the Santa Monica Alrport, as approved by the City Council on
November 15, 1983, shall guide the development and operation of
the Santa Monica Airport until July 1, 20lS.
SECTION 3. The attached Airport Layout Plan prepared in
furtherance of the Santa Monlca Airport Agreement and the Airport
Plan is approved and the City Manager is directed to slgn said
Alrport Layout Plan and transmlt it to the Federal Aviation
Administration for approval.
SECTION 4. Resolution No. 6296 (CCS), establishing policy
for the Santa Monica Airport, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
ln full force and effect.
