RESOLUTION NO. 6817 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A DATE TO HEAR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF
ASSESSMENTS FOR GUTTER INSTALLATION AND
STREET RESURFACING ON BROADWAY BETWEEN
ELEVENTH AND SEVENTEENTH STREETS, ALL WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF >SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Superlntendent of Streets wlll
flle a report of work pursuant to Sectlon 5882 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Ca11forn1a, relatlng to the
constructlon of certa1n lmprovements completed along Broadway
between Eleventh and Seventeenth Street, all wlthln the Clty of
Santa Monlca.
Section 2.
That pursuant to Sectlon 5870 et seq. of
sald COde, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on
the 13th of March, 1984, at 7'30 P.M., In the Counell Chambers of
the Clty Hall, lt wlJl hear and pass upon the report by the
Superlntendent of Streets, of the cost of constructlon together
W1th any objectlons or protests, lf any, WhlCh may be ralsed by
any of the property owners llaole to be assessed for the cost of
sueh construetlon and any other 1nterested persons.
Sectlon 3. That all protests or ObJections must be In
wr1tlng and flled wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearlng of protests and obJectlons.
Seetlon 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets lS hereby
directed to mall notlees, In the manner and form preser1bed by

law, of the cost of constructlon and of the adoptlon of this
resolutlon to all persons oW1ng real property 1n the here1nbefore
descrlbed assessment dlstr1ct whose names and addreSses appear on
the last equallzed assessment ro11 for Clty taxes or as known to
the CHy Clerk.
Sectlon 5.
The Clty Clerk shall
certlfy to the
adoptlon of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter, the
same shall be 1 n full force and effect.
