RESOLUTION NO. 6822(CCS}

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CONCRETE GUTTERS AND STREET RESURFACING ON ON
VARIOUS CITY STREETS ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council of the City of Santa Monica,
on the lOth day of January, 1984, adopted Resolutlon No. 6802
(CCS) setting a public hearing;
WHEREAS, written not~ces of said improvement have been
given in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all written objections and protests to
the work or the extent of the district to be assessed were heard
and considered by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
That the public convenience and necessity
requires
the
construction
of concrete gutters and street
resurfacing along:
Colorado between 9th and 14th Streets
Michigan between Cloverfield and the easterly deadend
Marine between Lincoln and 150 feet west of Lincoln
pier between Ma~n and Neilson Way
Pier between Lincoln and 160 feet west of Lincoln
all within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That all protests and Objections of every
klnd and nature to the construction of concrete gutters and the
street resurfacing along:

Colorado between 9th and 14th Streets
M~chigan between Clover field and the easterly deadend
Marine between Lincoln and ISO feet west of Lincoln
Pier between Ma1n and Neilson Way
Pier between Lincoln and 160 feet west of Lincoln
as described in Section 1, all within the City of Santa Monica, be
and the same are hereby overruled and denled.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Streets and Highways Code
Sect10n saao, the Street Superlntendent is directed to commence
the construction of concrete gutters and street resurfacing above
described after a GO-day perlod wherever the property owners have
not started the gutter construct1on and street resurfacing
themselves.
SECTION 4.
That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of th~s resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
