A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA OROERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CONCRETE GUTTERS AND STREET RESURFACING ON ON
VARIOUS CITY STREETS ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, the Clty Councll of the Clty of Santa Mon1ca,
on the 24th day of January, 1984, adopted Resolut10n No. 6810
(CCS) settlng a public hearlng;
WHEREAS, wrltten not1ces of sald lmprovement have been
glven 1n the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all wrltten objections and protests to
tne work or the extent of the d1str1ct to be assessed were heard
and consldered by the Clty CounCll;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I.
That the publlc convenience and necesslty

Nebraska between Stewart and Centlnela
Euclld between Wllshire and 150 feet south of Wllsh1re
Euclld between Santa Monlca and 250 feet north of Santa
Monlca

Berkeley between Nebraska and Pennsylvanla
Berkeley between 161 feet north of Wllshlre and 150
feet south of Wllshlre
Eleventh between P1CO and 77 feet north of Plea on the
westerly slde
Ozone between Llncoln and 87 feet east of Llncoln
Thlrd Street between Wllsh1re and 100 feet north of
Wllshire

all Wlthln the Clty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2.
That all protests and obJectlons of every
k1nd and nature to the constructlon of concrete gutters and the
street resurfac1ng along:
Nebraska between Stewart and Cent1nela
Eucl1d between W11sh1re and 150 feet south of Wllshlre
Eucl1d between Santa Mon1ca and 250 feet north of Santa
Mon1ca
Ashland between Ma1n and 100 feet east of Maln
Berkeley between Nebraska and Pennsylvania
Berkeley between 161 feet north of Wllshlre and 150
feet south of Wllshire
Eleventh between P1CO and 77 feet north of P1CO on the
westerly slde
Ozone between llncoln and 87 feet east of Llncoln
Thlrd Street between Wllshlre and 100 feet north of
W11shlre
Fourth Street between Wllshlre and 100 feet north of
Wllshlre
as descrlbed ln Sectlon 1, all wlth1n the C1ty of Santa Mon1ca, be
and the same are hereby overruled and denled.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Streets and Hlghways Code
Sectlon 5880, the Street Super1ntendent 1S dlrected to commence
the constructlon of concrete gutters and street resurfaclng above
descr1bed after a 50-day perlod wherever the property owners have
not started the gutter constructlon and street resurfaclng
themselves.

SECTION 4.
That the Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of thlS resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
