A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING AN
ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACT NUMBER 1740 FROM
MURDOCK-SANTA MONICA TO PACIFIC SHORES
ASSOCIATES LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
WHEREAS,
the C~ty of Santa Monica has leased certain
real property as more particularly described in Contract
Number 1740 (CCS), and any addendums thereto; and
WHEREAS,
the current lessee is Murdock-Santa Monica, a
Californ1a Limited Partnership, pursuant to an assignment
agreement approved by the City in 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has received a request
from Murdock-Santa Monica, a Cal~fornia Limited Partnership,
to approve an assignwent of the lease to Pacific Shore
Associates
Limited
California
Limited
Partnership,
a
Partnership,
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the City of Santa
Monica approves the assignment of Contract Number 1740 (and
addendums thereto) from Murdock-Santa Monica, a California
Limited Partnership,
to Pac1fic Shore Associates Limited

Partnership, a Ca11fornia Limited Partnership and authorizes
the City Manager to execute the fallowing documents:
Consent to
Lease and
Assignment of Lessee's Interest Under
of Sublessor's Interest Under Subleases.
Estoppel Certificate to Commun1ty Savings and Loan,
Inc.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
