RESOLUTION NO. 6949{CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING A
PHYSICALLY HANDICAP ZONE ADJACENT
TO 1440-B FRANKLIN STREET
WHEREAS, the City Councll of Santa MonIca has enacted
an ordlnance enabling indivIduals to request parking zones for
physlcally handlcapped personsj and
WHEREAS,
the CIty has recelved a request for a
phYSlcally handlcap zone; and
WHEREAS, the CIty Parking and Trafflc Engineer has
consldered the request and concluded, based upon the factors
stated In the ordInance, that a physIcally handlcap zone may be
installed at the requested locatlon,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1.
A
Physically handIcap zone IS hereby
establlshed on the west slde of Franklln Street adJacent to
1440-B Franklin Street.
SECTION 2.
The CIty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of thlS Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
