RESOLUTION NO. 6952(CCSl

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-59)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will rile
a report of repaIr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, relating to the
constructIon of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways
at 1620 Broadway, 534 23rd, 513 14th Street, 1021 PIne Street,
128 Esparta Way, 2504-2512 11th Street, 827 20th Street, 823 20th
Street, 151!1 Maple Street and 1315 Maple Street, all within the
City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
8th day of January, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
SuperIntendent of Streets of the cost of repaIr, together with
any obJections or protests, if any, wh ich may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objectlons must be in
wrItIng and flIed with the CIty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets lS hereby
dIrected to mail notIces, In the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repaIr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certIfy to the adoption
of thIS resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full forcd and effect.
