A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED
ZONE ADJACENT TO l343 11TH STREET
WHEREAS, the C~ty counc~l of the c~ty of Santa
Mon~ca has enacted an ord~nance enabling ~ndivlduals to request
parking zones for phys~cally hand~capped person; and
WHEREAS, the city has received a request for a phys~cally
handicapped zone; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Traffic Eng~neer has cons~dered
the requests and concluded, based upon the factors stated ~n the
ord~nance, that a physically handicapped zone may be ~nstalled at
the requested location,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A physically handicapped zone ~s hereby
establlshed adJacent to 1343 11th Street.
SECTION 2. The C~ty Clerk shall cert~fy to the adoption
of th~s resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ~n full force and effect.
