A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA REPEALING RESOLUTION
NO. 6952 AND SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT
OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS
AND CURBS (SR-85-59)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- Resolutlon Number 6952 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets wlll file
a report of repalr pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California, relatIng to the
constructlon of certall" lmprovements to sldewalks and drlveways
at 1620 Broadway, 534 23rd. 513 14th Street, 1021 Pine Street,
128 Esparta Way, 2504-2512 11th Street, 827 20th Street, 823 20th
Street, 1514 Maple Street and 1315 Maple Street, all within the
CIty of Santa MonIca.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
26th day of February, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the CounCIl Chambers
of the CIty Hall, it WIll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repaIr, together with
any objectIons or protests, If any, WhlCh may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 4 . That all protests or obJections must be in
wrIting and flIed wIth the CIty Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearing of protests and obJections.
SECTION 5. The Superlp.tendent of Streets is hereby
dlrected to mail J'lotlces, In the manner apd form prescrlbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoptIon of this ResolutIon
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repalr program, whose p.ames and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as knowp.
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall certIfy to the adoptIon
of thIS resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ln full force aJ'ld effect.
