RESOLUTION NO. 6972 (CCSl
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA 1'10NICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-60)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ResolutIon Number 6952 is hereby repealed.
SEC nON 2. That the SuperIntendent of Streets WIll hIe
a report of repalr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
HIghways Code of the State of California, relatlng to the
construction of certaIn improvements to SIdewalks and drIveways
at 1515 Maple, 1516 Maple, 1507 Paclflc, 1411 Paciflc, 1419
Paclfic, 1412 PacIflc, 1415 PacIfIC, 1501 PacIfIC, 1418 PacIfic,
1516 Paciflc.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of saId
code, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
12th day of March, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the CounCIl Chambers of
the CIty Hall , It will hear and pass upon the report by the
SuperIntendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together with
any obJ ect lons or protests, lf any, which may be raIsed by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repaIr
and any other Interested persons.

SECTION 4 . That all protests or objections must be In
wrltlng and flIed WIth the CIty Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearing of protests and obJectIons.
SECTION 5. The Superintendent of Streets IS hereby
dlrected to mall notIces, In the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repaIr and of the adoptIon of thIS Resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
