A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MONITORING
OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS
WHEREAS, tr.e City Councll may establish the standards and
regulatIons for the constructIon, operatIon and monItoring of underground
storage tanks, pursuant to Municlpal Code SectIon 8602(c).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- Pursuant to Municlpal Code Section 8602(c), the Clty
CouncIl of the CIty of Santa MonIca adopts the accompanying Standards and
Regulatlons for the ConstructIon, Operatlon and Monltorlng of Underground
Tanks.
SECTION 2. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ResolutIon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full force
and effect.
