A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-61)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1- Tr. a t the Superlntendent of Streets wlll
file a report of repaIr pursuant to Section 5617 of tr.e Streets
and Highways Code of tr.e State of California, relating to the
constructlon of certain improverr.ents to sidewalks and driveways
at 1519 PacifIc, 1511 Pacific, 1515 PacifIc, 465 22nd, 1512
PaCIfIc, 1502 Paciflc, 1520 Paclflc, 3231 Pearl, 3324 Pearl, and
718 Lincoln, all within the CIty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
23rd day of April, 1985. at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the CIty Hall, It wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repa ir , together wlth
any obJ ections or protests, If any, which may be raIsed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.
SECTION 3. That all protests or obJ ections must be ln
wrlting and filed wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.

SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets lS hereby
dIrected to mall notices, In the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons own ing real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repaIr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adopting
of this ResolutIon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
