A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY
HANDICAPPED ZONE ADJACENT TO 1625 OLYMPIC BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the CIty Council of the City of Santa Monica has
enacted ar; ordinance enablir,g Ir,dIvIduals to request park1'1g
zones for physIcally handIcapped person; and
WHEREAS, the CIty has received a request for a phySIcally
har.dIcapped zone; a"d
WHEREAS, the ParkIng and TraffIC EngIneer has considered
the request and cor;cluded, based upo!: the factors stated 1.!: the
ord1.nar:ce, that an addItional physically har:dlcapped zone may be
Histalled at the requested locatIon,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . A phYSIcally handIcapped zone is hereby
establIshed 01" the north side of OlympIC Boulevard adJacer,t to
1625 OlympIC Boulevard.
SECTION 2. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adopt1.on
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be l.n full force and effect.
