RESOLUTION NO. 6997(~CS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-85-62)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets wlll
flle a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets
and Hlghways Code of the State of Californla, relating to the
construction of certain lmprovements to sidewalks and driveways
at 1115 Prlnceton, 1023 Maple, 1507 Maple, 922 San Vlcente, 501
23rd, 476 23rd, 475 23rd, 402 23rd, 376 23rd, 201 23rd, and 458
21st Place, all within the Clty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
14th day of May, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., In the Councll Chambers of
the City Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superlntendent of Streets of tl:e cost of repalr, together with
any objections or protests, If any, which may be ralsed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrltlng and filed Wl th the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and objections.

SECTION 4. The SuperIntendent of Streets is hereby
d Hected to mail notIces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repaIr and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The CIty Clerk shall certIfy to the adopting
of th is Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
SECTION 6. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adopt ion
of thi s Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
