A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
TRAINING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTt-IENT OF
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL c_
WHEREAS, The State of California, Department of California
Highway Patrol requires wrItte~ trai~ing agreeme~ts from any
agency participati~g in traInIng programs at the Academy; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Santa Monica
deSIres from tIme to time to partICIpate in certai~ traInl~g pro-
grams sponsored a~d administered by the Departme~t of CalIfornia
HIghway Patrol.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorIzed to execute on be-
half of the CIty of Santa Monica trai~ing agreements WIth the
CalifornIa HIghway Patrol.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adoption of
this ReSOlutIon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
