A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE GUTTERS
AND STREET RESURFACING ON WILSHIRE BOULEVARD BETWEEN
21ST STREET AND CENTINELA
WHEREAS, the C1ty Council of the City of Santa Monica, on
the 12th day of March. 1985. adopted Resolution No. 6983 (CCS)
setting a public hear1ng;
WHEREAS, wr1tten notices of saId improvements have been
glven 1n the manner requ1red by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all written objectIons and protests to
the work or the extent of the d1strict to be assessed were heard
and considered by the City CouncIl;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the publ1C convenience and necessIty
reqUIres the construction of concrete gutters and street
resurfacing along Wilshue Boulevard between 21st Street and
CentInela. all within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That all protests and obJect1ons of every kind
and nature to the constructIon of concrete gutters and the street
resurfacing along Wilshire Boulevard between 21st Street and
Centinela, as descrIbed in Section 1 , all within the City of
Santa MonIca, be and the same are hereby overruled and denied.

SECTION 3. Ttat pursuant to Streets and Highways Code
Section 5880, tte Street Superintendent ~s d irec ted to commence
tte construction of concrete gutters and street resurfacing above
described after a 60-day period wherever the property owners have
not started the gutter construction and street resurfacing
themselves.
SECTION 4. Ttat the City Clerk shall cert~fy to tte
adoption of this Resolution and ttenceforth and ttereafter the
sarr:e stall be in full force and effect.
