A RESOLUTION OF ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
C I':."Y OF SANTA MONICA SE~~ING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF 7HE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS CSR-85-63)
THE CI~Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will
flle a report of repalr pursuant to SectlOn 5617 of the Streets
and Hlghways Code of the State of Californla, relating to the
constructlon of certaln lmprovements to sidewalks and driveways
at 708 Lincoln, 307 25th, 1405 Paciflc, 209 Wilshire, 722
Llncoln, 704 Linclon, 1401 Paclfic, 728-30 Lincoln, 1714
Wilshire, and 2502 Marquerita, all wlthln the City of Santa
Monica.
SECTION 2. ~hat pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on the
28th day of May, 1985, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the Clty Hall, lt wlll hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any obJectlons or protests, If any, WhlCh may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrlting and flIed with the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and obJectlons.
SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets lS hereby
directed to mall notlces, in the rranner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of thlS Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessrrent repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk. #
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
