A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATION
LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85
WHEREAS, the City Council is required under the provisions of
Government Code Section 7910 and Article XIIIB of the Callfornia
Constitutlon to establish its appropriatlon llmit by resolution, and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determination of the
appropriatlon limit has been available to the public for fifteen
days prior to this meet~ng as required by Government Code Section
7910,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. For purposes of Article XIIIB of the California
Constitution, the City of Santa Monica appropriatlon limit for the
flscal year 1984-85 shall be $28,542,954.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
the Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
